Welcome to the Mastic Beach Hebrew Center website. We will use this website to keep you updated to events, holidays, educational news, and general goings-on at the temple. The "mission statement" of the Mastic Beach Hebrew Center is that: "coming to Temple should not be a chore. It should be a fulfilling, enjoyable experience that you and your family look forward to each week."

     The Board of Directors prides itself in carrying out this mission by hosting the most friendly, laid back, "Hamish" services and events in the area, as well as offering our members the most reasonable membership fees and Hebrew School tuition of any Jewish center around.

     We are privileged to have Rabbi David Altman join our MBHC family as our spiritual leader, as well as Cantor Harris Cohen uplifting our spirits weekly with his beautiful singing voice. Each Friday we follow our 8pm service (about 1 hour long) with an Oneg (a coffee and cake hour) in our party room. There are games and TV to keep the kids entertained while the adults relax and chat.

     We welcome all to our temple including — and especially — families of mixed religious backgrounds. Everyone is made to feel at home and we look forward to seeing you.
